Eclectic, rogue folk, Left of Memphis, announces the release of their 2nd CD, "A Little Bit of Rain." Songsmiths Leslie Merical & Marty Van Loan have had reviews comparing them to the likes of Cowboy Junkies, Suzanne Vega, Leonard Cohen, Greg Brown, Kate Wolf, but they're known for their own brand of "charming vocals," "haunting quirky harmonies," "intelligent lyrics" & "engaging banter" Southern California concert dates: Feb 12, 7:30pm, Borders Books & Music, Thousand Oaks, CA & Feb 19, 9pm, Exile Books & Music, Sherman Oaks, CA, with more dates to follow. I'm working on booking East Coast/New England dates, a double bill with Jonathan McEuen (extremely talented son of John "Nitty Gritty Dirt Band" McEuen) & Left of Memphis in late Spring or Fall (festivals, venues or house concert settings.) For booking, please contact me: Anne Elliot, Three Angels & A Saint Music, email: music@leftofmemphis.com. Jonathan's new CD on Chrome Records will be out in late Spring! Song samples of Left of Memphis are up at their website http://www.leftofmemphis.com & Jonathan's samples will be up & available within a few weeks.
