Hi All:

Glad to see so many of you at the Folk Alliance.  Each year, there's a buzz
on a few artists and this year everyone seemed to be talking about RAY
BONNEVILLE.  Up for a Juno (Canadian Grammy) for Best Blues Album, Ray's
blues-inflected songwriting and extraordinary harmonica playing provided a
breath of fresh air at the conference.

Althogh Ray has become a bit of a celebrity in Canada, he is not as well
known in the U.S.  Prime CD is hoping to change that with the release of
his new CD ROUGH LUCK (released today).  Featuring just vocal and guitar
(acoustic and electric) recorded impeccably, ROUGH LUCK is the second
release for the PRIMAL AUDIOPHILE SERIES, a group of recordings featuring
solo performances by incredible artists.

One of our missions with Ray is to have him perform in the U.S. more often.
Although he is represented by Bob Jensen, one of the premier agents in
Canada, Ray has no representation in the U.S.  If any of you work with an
agency that would be interested in representing Ray, please call me at

In any case, we'd like Ray to do a U.S. tour as soon as is possible.
Therefore,until a U.S. agent is in place, I am going to put together a tour
for him.  If you represent a club or a concert series and would like to
bring this Juno-nominated artist to your venue, please call me at
