just a reminder that Barbara Kessler's new cd is out and it is terrific :) 
I've had it on repeat for 3 days...go to www.cdfreedom.com to listen to 
samples and buy the cd.. also, her first cassette Barbara Kessler Live has 
been out of print for a while but has been released on cd :) it's also

does anyone know if the Richard Shindell/Peter Mulvey sampler is still 
available?? I saw Richard in Berkeley two weeks ago and I am hooked 
now...also, Jess Klein (a member of Voices on the Verge) opened up for him 
and she is fabulous :) her website is www.jessklein.com - check her out!

A friend and I were bored this weekend and saw an ad for Allette Brooks in 
the paper (Sacramento Bee)..for $3...the paper described her as a folksy 
singer-songwriter so we went, not even knowing who she was...well she was 
terrific! very Ani-esque guitar playing and some great songs..we're going to 
see her again tonight in Davis :) I think her cds are available at 
folkweb..I'm bringing more money tonight with me to get them! She has a bunch 
of east coast dates coming up so please check her out..

times like these make me wish I was still living on the east coast...*sigh* 
so much music, so little time...
