[FM] Dan Pelletier: Showcases/Accolades

Hudson Valley Records recording artist Dan Pelletier has just won first 
prize in the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest's Folk Category for his latest song 
"Angels of Unhappy Love."
Dan has also just been named as a showcase finalist in the South Florida 
Folk Festival, which will be held Jan 13&14, 2001 in Oakland Park, Florida.

These two most recent accolades follow hot on the heels of Dan's appearance 
as a showcase finalist at the Southwest Regional Folk Alliance conference 
in Kerrville, TX, and confirm that people are starting to notice what we at 
Hudson Valley Records have known for a while: that Dan is an incredible 
songwriter (as well as a dynamic, passionate, warm and funny performer).
