[FM] Al Grierson

very sad news about Al Grierson, thanks to Smokefeath@aol.com for posting 
that more intimate story (I'd read the official straight version).  what a 
horrible way to go imho.  I don't think there's anything exotic about being 
swept up by forces of nature and dying alone.  another reminder of how 
precious life is and how we take it for granted......
I didn't know Al personally, but heard him play once at FA and was very 
impressed.  His listserve postings were always interesting.  He was quite a 
character, a vanishing breed of individual.
