[FM] Smither - NYTimes clarification

Hi and Happy New Year to all,

First a large and heartfelt thank you to David Broida for posting his kind 
words about Chris Smither and Wednesday's New York Times glowing review of 
his performance.

One minor clarification in the article/posting:  Chris and The Millers were 
sharing a co-bill at The Bottom Line; Chris was not the opening act.  Minor 
I know, but nonetheless a tad more accurate.

In today's news.  We're thrilled that Peter Case's project, AVALON BLUES - 
A TRIBUTE TO THE MUSIC OF MISSISSIPPI JOHN HURT, is nominated for a Best 
Traditional Folk Album Grammy.  Chris Smither's rendition of "Frankie & 
Albert" is the lead track on the album.

Congratulations to all nominees, including Buddy & Julie Miller (for Best 
Contemporary Folk Album) for their self-titled CD.
