In the for what it's worth department, here is my 'Best of 2001"
list. I, ahem, hedged on at least a couple of the selections.

1.  "Firefly" Garnet Rogers

2.  "Drum Hat Buddha" Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer

3.  "Something I Saw Or Thought I Saw" Bill Morrissey

4.  "5 Stories" Kris Delmhorst

5.  "Hunting The Heart" Pete Morton
    (a 2000 release I didn't get til this year)

6.  "Kilroy Was Here" Larry Kirwan

7.  "State Of Grace" Pierce Pettis

8.  "Waltz Of The Scarecrow King" Gary Myrick
    (this may have been released earlier but got it this year)

9.  "The Captain" Kasey Chambers
    (released in 1999, I believe, but didn't get it til this year)

10. "Outlaws & Dreamers" Dick Gaughan

I liked Tom Russell's "Borderland" but the bar may have been too high
after his tremendous "The Man From God Knows Where."
