Plowshares Coffee House presents Phil Roy in concert Saturday, January 19th
at 8:00 pm. Felix McTeigue opens.
Phil Roy's return to the east coast was prompted by love, or so he tells it.
After 20 years in Los Angeles, he's back to his roots. We're the lucky ones!
Come out and hear Phil in a live acoustic music venue, a small Quaker meeting
house west of Philadelphia. Folks say this is a "live room" and everyone
agrees it's a perfect setting for voice and guitar.
Felix McTeigue is following in his family's formidable footsteps as a
musician. Son of Maggie Roche, and so nephew to Suzzy and Terre, as well as
Loudon Wainwright, cousin of Rufus, he's wry and clever and just a little
romantic too.
Showtime is at 8:00 pm. Donation at the door is $12.00. Plowshares is a
non-smoking, no alcohol, all acoustic venue. Dessert and coffee/tea/soft
drinks available to purchase.
Located on Route 23 at Whitehorse Road in Phoenixville, PA, Plowshares is
located in Schuylkill Friends Meeting House. Take the PA Turnpike to the
Valley Forge exit and pick up Route 23 West through Valley Forge Park into
Phoenixville.
